About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. My name is Dr. Aung Tun. I’m glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It’s important you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you get to know me.

Biography

I practiced internal medicine in New York for 8 years before moving to Southern California to join Kaiser Permanente. I completed my fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. In 2012, I joined Kaiser Permanente in Riverside as a pulmonary and critical care physician, as I couldn’t resist the beautiful weather of Southern California.

About my practice

I strive to treat all members the way I would want to be treated. I believe this can be achieved through patience, listening, a thorough evaluation of member needs, and keeping up to date with current information and research.

How I thrive

I focus on daily exercise (even simply walking the dog would do), eating more vegetables and fruits and less meat (especially red meat), and cutting down on calories and refined sugar. One last and most important thing in my daily routine is a nice strong cup (or two) of coffee. Sorry, I take it back. I love to have many cups of coffee as possible throughout the day, best if I can have freshly roasted pour over.
