About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I look forward to working with you to care for your child's health.

Biography

I grew up in Southern California and have spent much of my life here. I did my medical school and graduate school in Northern California, my surgery residency in Seattle, and my pediatric surgery fellowship in Buffalo. My family and I are glad to be back in Southern California! I chose to pursue a career in pediatric surgery for several reasons. I enjoy the wide variety of patients and diseases that I can treat. I truly enjoy the technical aspects of the surgeries. And I love being able to help children.

About my practice

A pediatric general surgeon treats many diseases that affect different areas of the body, such as the head and neck, chest, abdomen, and extremities. I have a particular interest in chest wall deformities, congenital intestinal malformations, and minimally invasive surgery. I work very closely with the pediatricians, neonatologists, pediatric anesthesiologists, and other pediatric subspecialists.

How I thrive

I believe that an active lifestyle helps to maintain health. I enjoy mountain biking, surfing, paddleboarding, and martial arts. I also enjoy spending time with my wife and daughters.
