About Me

I grew up in a small town on a lake in northeastern Pennsylvania, which is where I developed my love of the outdoors. After completing my undergraduate degree in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and medical degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, I decided it was time for a change of scenery and moved west to complete my internal medicine residency at Oregon Health & Science University. I was inspired to practice medicine by my mother, who worked as a family nurse practitioner.

About my practice

I practice hospital medicine and enjoy helping patients navigate the complexities of a hospital stay while providing high-quality care. I see myself as an advocate for my patients and believe it is an honor to get to know them over the course of their hospitalization. I have a particular interest in working to end health-care disparities in the LGBTQ community.

How I thrive

Outside of work, I enjoy biking, hiking, camping, and photography. I have become particularly interested in Oregon geology, which has led me to explore some remote, beautiful places around the state. I studied theater in undergrad and enjoy the local theater and music scenes in Portland. I have an ever-growing family on the East Coast and always look forward to spending time with my nieces and nephew.
