About Me

I am originally from South Korea, but spent most of my childhood in West Africa before arriving in the Pacific Northwest for high school and college. Where I studied neurobiology at the University of Washington. Medical training took me to Baltimore where I attended medical school, internal medicine residency and a fellowship in geriatrics at Johns Hopkins.

About my practice

I was drawn to geriatric population during my medical training, because I loved learning from my patients. I value helping their efforts to achieve optimum health, dignity and independence. Helping patients recover from recent hospitalizations, cope with transitions and determine goals of care while working with an interdisciplinary team to help my patients achieve their goals is critical to my practice.

How I thrive

I am energized by spending time with our community of friends and spending time with my husband watching my three children grow up.
