About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy for the opportunity to introduce myself to you.

Biography

I was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the U.S. when I was 11 years old. I am fluent in Vietnamese and proud of my heritage. I teach Vietnamese to children on weekends. I also speak some Spanish. I lived in Connecticut for a couple years and went to school in New York. I like the East Coast but I love San Diego. I am a Chargers fan. I have four lovely children.

About my practice

I chose Kaiser Permanente right after I finished training, in 2002, because I wanted to work in an environment that would allow me to devote all of my time to delivering the best care possible to my patients. I am so happy with this decision! I worked as a primary care doctor for four years at Kaiser Permanente Vandever Medical Offices, but since 2006 I have been a hospitalist, which means I care for members who have been admitted to the hospital. This role allows me to treat our patients that need a lot of attention, and I find the work extremely rewarding. I am happy because I can get my patients to better health, returning them home to their love ones. But there are times when comfort is all that can be given, and I am happy to be able to do that as well.

How I thrive

I believe people are good. I believe we should be nice and friendly to one another. If our paths cross, I believe it's more than just by chance. Therefore, you can be sure that I will do my very best for you and treat you like family.
