About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you. I am a podiatrist and have practiced for 21 years at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members.
Biography
Until high school, I lived in the Middle East. My father is a paleontologist and my mother is an archaeologist. It was from my parents that I developed a taste for travel, adventure, and art. During this time I also developed a desire to go into a profession where I could help people. I did all my training in California, including four years in public health service after my residency.
About my practice
My practice is a full-service podiatric practice and includes surgery, caring for trauma, and diabetic foot care. Podiatry is evolving and we are now all developing procedures in which we have greater expertise. Open lines of communication for quick exchange with our medical colleagues help us to deliver integrated, high-quality care.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of health in mind, body, and spirit. In my experience, balance does not come easily; it requires dedication. My wife and I enjoy going to exhibits at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art. I also exercise regularly. During my years at South Bay Medical Center, I have done everything from skydiving and scuba diving, to multiple adventure races such as the Eco-Challenge. I'm fighting Mother Nature through diet, exercise, and preventive health care. Oh and by the way, I also get my health care at Kaiser Permanente.
