About Me
I was raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Jefferson Medical College. I completed my Internal Medicine training at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center and practiced as an internist in the Army for three years at Fort Lee in Virginia and Fort Polk in Louisiana. I have practiced at the Hidden Lake Medical Offices since 1997.
About my practice
I chose Internal Medicine as a specialty because I enjoy taking care of geriatric patients with a wide variety of complex medical problems instead of focusing on one part of the body or organ system. I listen and seek to understand my patients' questions and concerns. Our teams at Hidden Lake meet daily to discuss ways to improve the way we take care of patients. I am impressed that Kaiser Permanente allows us the freedom to innovate and find new ways to take care of patients. For instance, I can offer my patients convenience through email, phone and video visits. I feel that I am empowered to provide patients high-quality health care at Kaiser Permanente. I don’t feel pressured to avoid ordering tests or medications that are right for the patient, but I will choose more cost-effective approaches. I am detail oriented and I really enjoy making patients happy by helping to solve their medical problems.
How I thrive
I like to fish, hike with my wife, exercise at Red Rocks, and spend time with my family.
