About Me
Greetings. I am a cardiologist at Kaiser Permanente Riverside here to provide care for you and your heart. If you come to my office or we meet at the hospital, get ready to answer my favorite question for all members: What is the most active thing you do? Although I look forward to partnering with you in your care, I would much rather run into you at the beach, hiking Mount Rubidoux, or running the Mission Inn 10K.
Biography
I am originally from Massachusetts, but Riverside is now my home.
About my practice
I practice general cardiology at our Riverside and Moreno Valley Medical Centers, and I am particularly interested in helping people live actively and abundantly with their conditions. I believe in the medications and interventions I recommend, but I also believe strongly in the principle that less is more.
How I thrive
I try to practice what I preach. To stay fit, I run three to four times per week. I do most of my shopping in the produce section of the grocery store, and practice strict moderation – splurging perhaps once a month in a few guilty pleasures such as ice cream, or a burger and fries. I spend most of my free time with my wife and two children. For relaxation, I enjoy gardening and working on my house.
