About Me

I was born in China and raised in Canada. My family and I decided to move to Hawaii when my husband, who is a marine biologist, was offered a job here. We have two beautiful children together.

About my practice

Growing up with my three siblings, there was always a strong medical influence in our household because both of my parents were physicians. While there are so many important aspects to health care, as a family medicine physician, I believe that the care I deliver to my patients is the number one priority. I enjoy interacting with my patients and learning about their careers and family lives. I am fortunate to be able to work with an amazing group of colleagues within the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group. The support of my fellow physicians and medical staff helps me in providing the best care possible to my patients and their families.

How I thrive

I like to keep active by walking my dogs and going to the beach. I am also very lucky to have such a supportive group of family and friends whom I really enjoy spending time with. Quilting and knitting are favorite hobbies that also keep me busy.
