About Me

Hello. Thank you for visiting my Web page and giving me the opportunity to introduce myself to you. I am proud to be part of the Kaiser Permanente team and look forward to caring for your eyes.

Biography

I received my first pair of glasses at the age of 13 and ever since then, I have been interested in vision. It was a wonderful feeling to be able to suddenly see clearly, and I wanted to share that gift of sight to help others see better as well. I have lived in Southern California most of my life. I completed my undergraduate degree at UCLA and then hopped up north to UC Berkeley for optometry school. After receiving my optometry degree, I decided to move back to Southern California to be closer to family.

About my practice

The team approach to care at Kaiser Permanente is an important aspect of my practice. It allows us to work together to provide comprehensive eye care services to members. My philosophy of care is to treat each member as I would like to be treated and to view each member as an individual with his or her own unique visual needs. One of the things that I love about my job is the relationship that I build with each member. I enjoy connecting with them on a personal level and learning about their varied backgrounds to help them see better.

How I thrive

I believe in the importance of keeping a balance between work and family life. I exercise regularly and eat a balanced diet to stay healthy. I also enjoy traveling and spending as much time as I can with my husband and 2 kids.
