About Me

In 1999 I moved back to Hawaii because my husband wanted to come home. Having worked many years at Kaiser Permanente in Southern California, I was very happy to be able join the Kaiser Permanente family in Hawaii.

About my practice

I chose to specialize in optometry because seeing clearly and comfortably enhances one's quality of life. I enjoy working at the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group because it gives me the ability to consult with specialists and share knowledge with colleagues. In my practice, I try to learn about each patient's lifestyle and visual needs so I can provide the appropriate corrective treatment options, i.e. spectacles, contact lenses, or refractive surgeries. I educate my patients on proper eye care and believe in treating every patient like my own family member. I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

How I thrive

In my time off, I stay healthy through lots of walking, reading, and laughing. I like to go to live theater, sample different restaurants, cook, travel, and get together with family and friends.
