About Me

I am a native of the hot and humid Southeast. I was born and raised in Mississippi where I completed my medical training in internal medicine. I consider it a privilege to be able to practice medicine and help people live their best life. After several years working in primary care, I moved to Tennessee to complete a palliative medicine fellowship.

About my practice

I practiced clinic-based primary care for several years before shifting my focus to palliative medicine. I enjoy the team approach of palliative medicine and the opportunity to really get to know my patients and help them achieve their goals.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time in the kitchen. The process of cooking and tinkering with recipes soothes my soul. I also have a great interest in sports, both as a participant and a fan. My next goal is to learn to design and sew my own clothes.
