About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I hope it offers you an opportunity to learn more about me.

Biography

I was born and raised in Burma, now known as Myanmar. I come from a family of physicians, so it was natural that I followed their path of healing, and I have never regretted it.

About my practice

I started at Kaiser Permanente as an internist/geriatrician, which means I had additional training in caring for older adults. I am now focused mainly on practicing hospice and palliative medicine. As part of our inpatient palliative care team, I do consultations in the hospital; in addition, I do home hospice and palliative care visits. I find that terminally ill patients have needs and issues that need to be addressed in a very sensitive and compassionate manner. I find it very rewarding to be of support to them.

How I thrive

Other than my work as a physician, my family is the most important thing in my life, but I do find time to stay healthy by exercising.
