About Me

Welcome to my Web page.

Biography

I was born in Taiwan and came to the U.S. in 1980. I have always found physiology and medicine fascinating. I studied biochemistry at UC Berkeley and received chancellor's and alumni scholarships. Some of my family members also are in medicine. As a family, we love to travel and get together to celebrate any special occasion (as much as possible).

About my practice

I am a diagnostic radiologist with a special interest in neuroradiology. As a diagnostic radiologist with an additional interest and training in neuroradiology, I have the opportunity to come across many interesting examples of neuroanatomy and pathology and also to be of assistance to my colleagues in providing second opinions. In our department, we are lucky to have many people with additional training in different subspecialties of radiology, and we are always sharing and helping each other as a team.

How I thrive

I love to read, travel, and exercise (hiking, weight lifting, treadmills) to keep fit both spiritually and physically. I do try to take my own advice about staying healthy. Recently I got interested in positive psychology (studying how happy people thrive). The reading of the positive psychology literature has helped me greatly.
