About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. My mission is to provide the best possible heath care in a compassionate environment. I strive to be your partner in wellness.

Biography

I grew up all over the place, as my parents were in the Air Force. I can make a friend anywhere! I enrolled in the UC Riverside/UCLA seven-year program, and received my medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1997. After completing a residency in emergency medicine at the same institution, I joined the staff at Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center. Kaiser Permanente appealed to me because of their mission statement, the stellar doctors, and the new facilities. In my spare time, I try to keep up with reading medical journals and attending conferences with my peers.

About my practice

The Emergency Department can be very busy at times. We work as a team to try to make sure every member feels cared for and important. We (physicians, nurses, technicians, and other employees) respect one another and are there for each other when the stress level increases and the waiting room is full. We endeavor to make every member feel completely satisfied with the care given.

How I thrive

I’m serious about wellness in my personal time as well as at work. I try to walk every day, eat healthfully (organic foods, whenever possible), and sleep well. I also do hot yoga. Its also important to keep the stress level down, so I try not to sweat the small stuff.
