About Me

I am originally from Portland, Oregon. Prior to going into medicine, I danced professionally with a ballet company for about six years. After multiple foot surgeries, I became fascinated with medicine and surgery and decided to pursue a career in medicine. I attended an osteopathic medical school in the California Bay Area, and then moved to Denver for my residency in obstetrics and gynecology. In my free time, I love enjoying the outdoors with my husband and our two young children. They keep me on my toes!

About my practice

I love the field of obstetrics and gynecology because it allows me to have such a special relationship with my patients. I get to see patients through many different stages in their lives and that in itself is incredibly rewarding. I also appreciate the variety that my job provides. One week can take me from delivering babies, to performing surgery, to seeing patients in the office—there’s never a dull moment! It’s very important to me that my patients leave a visit with me feeling fully informed about their diagnoses and all of their treatment options. I listen to understand your questions and concerns, so we can create a treatment plan that meets your needs and lifestyle. I also use your electronic medical records to see the big picture of your health, which allows me to better communicate and coordinate with your care team.

How I thrive

I thrive by being active and outdoors. While I spend plenty of time running after my two young children, I am trying to be better at making time for me. I like to spend that time running, hiking or reading, and I enjoy seeing the Colorado Symphony and Colorado Ballet perform.
