About Me

I am a Colorado native. After earning a degree in French and then a Masters in speech pathology, I worked with adults with head injuries, strokes, tumors, laryngectomy, etc. I became interested in neurology and went to medical school at University of California, Los Angeles, to pursue a medical career. During that process, I found psychiatry to be the most interesting field of all and returned to Denver to complete my residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

About my practice

After many years in private practice, coming to Kaiser Permanente was a big change. I had been seeing patients for therapy and medication management. At Kaiser Permanente, I provide medication management and work with a team of therapists who provide counseling to my patients. I have been really impressed by the classes, individual, and group therapy offered at Kaiser Permanente. I also work with a great team of psychiatrists which helps me keep up to date, allows me to brain storm, and learn from their input. Working with this team has turned out to be very rewarding.

How I thrive

I enjoy the "great outdoors" of Colorado, hiking, biking, gardening, and taking road trips. I have dogs and cats who keep me entertained - and busy!
