About Me

Let me take a moment to introduce myself. I am a pediatric hospitalist and have been working at the Bellflower Medical Center for a number of years, first in the neonatal intensive care unit and now on the pediatrics floor. I feel fortunate to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente family.

Biography

I am a native of Virginia. I moved to Los Angeles for my residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. I immediately fell in love with Southern California, its places, weather and people. Where else can you ski in the morning and then watch the sunset on the beach?

About my practice

I have always enjoyed working with children. Even when they're not feeling well, they still want to play and be kids. It's rewarding to be part of helping them get back to being kids. When children are admitted, the wonderful nurses and support staff here make every effort to ensure that during such a difficult time that the best care is given and all of your family's needs are met.

How I thrive

I believe in taking everything in moderation, keeping active in body and mind, and being aware of our environment and the people around us. I'm an avid tennis player and skier. I enjoy gardening and just being outdoors. Also, I like tending to my koi pond and rebuilding old British cars.
