About Me
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself. I work with wonderful colleagues and members at Kaiser Permanente, and I look forward to working with you, too.
Biography
I was born in India, but moved here when I was very young. I decided in high school to become a doctor when I did volunteer work in a hospital. It was so gratifying to be of service to others and help them in their time of need. I went to UC Irvine for my undergraduate work and then went to UC San Francisco for medical school. While at UCSF, I was fortunate enough to have excellent mentors and role models who encouraged me to become an internist. I have been in practice for more than 10 years and have loved every minute of it. The deep relationships I have developed with my patients have been priceless. I feel privileged to be a part of their lives and to see them grow and thrive.
About my practice
I believe in empowering my patients with the tools needed to keep healthy. I am a strong advocate of preventive medicine and am proactive in caring for my patients both when they are sick and when they are healthy. I have an excellent team of nurses and clinical staff to assist me in my practice. I share a practice with Dr. Trang Nguyen, who is in the office when I am out and covers for emergencies. I feel very lucky to work at Brea Medical Offices and really enjoy my practice.
How I thrive
I love to be active, and l love the great outdoors. I run to stay fit and enjoy walks in the park and love hiking in the mountains. No matter how busy life gets, my family and I make it a point to exercise and eat well-balanced meals.
