About Me
I am an East Coast transplant to California. Although initially heading toward pharmacy, it seemed taking care of eye health and visual needs might be more rewarding.
Biography
I was born in New York City, but grew up in central New Jersey. I discovered California when I was an optometrist for 2 years at Vandenberg Air Force Base in Lompoc. After completing my service with the Air Force, I immediately began working at Kaiser Permanente in Panorama City.
About my practice
I was hired primarily to fit contact lenses. When I started at Kaiser Permanente, the only contact lenses available were hard lenses. Today, we have soft and hard lenses of various sizes, shapes, and materials to better help our members.
How I thrive
Tennis, swimming, and working out at the gym are my main activities. Being a Dodger, Angel, Laker, Clipper, USC, and UCLA fan has made living in Southern California very enjoyable—even with the occasional down period.
