About Me

I decided to become a physician in high school, and could not imagine doing anything else! I grew up in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. I transferred to complete my undergraduate work at Regis University in Denver. I was drawn to Colorado for the outdoor activities and active lifestyle. I finished medical school at the University of Colorado and my residency at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver. I then practiced in Lakewood in private practice for two years before joining Kaiser Permanente. I decided to make this change after having a son, and wishing to work part-time. My husband is also a Kaiser Permanente physician, and has enjoyed his work and interactions with the organization. This helped me to make the decision to join Kaiser Permanente.

About my practice

I am a family physician, seeing patients of all ages, from birth to the elderly. I especially enjoy caring for young families. I enjoy getting to know entire families in my practice. I also have a special interest in sports medicine and minor procedures.

How I thrive

I thrive through balance in my work and personal life. I enjoy spending time with my young son and husband. My husband and I have always been active in hiking, volleyball, gardening, skiing and travel. We hope to pass these passions on to our son.
