About Me

I was born and raised in Hawaii and am raising two wonderful children, a daughter and son.

About my practice

During my medical school training, I was fascinated with just about every medical specialty and spent a lot of time learning about many different facets of clinical care. Given my exposure to so many different areas of medicine, and the fact that I really enjoyed being with and caring for families, I decided to pursue family medicine as my specialty. I feel privileged to be the clinic chief of Kailua clinic because it gives me an opportunity to coordinate and support the efforts of all of our providers and offer the most outstanding care possible to our members and their families. I enjoy the camaraderie of the entire Hawaii Permanente Medical Group and appreciate the support I receive from my fellow physicians at the clinic, in my department and throughout the medical group and region. Every day brings something new to our clinic and the collegial support we receive across the organization in caring for and serving our patients is always evident.

How I thrive

I enjoy running a lot and have participated in a number of marathons and triathlons. I have also trained in aikido. When I’m not focused on event training, I really enjoy relaxing with my good friends and family.
