About Me

I was born and raised in Kaneohe on the island of Oahu and I am a graduate of Punahou School. I completed my undergraduate studies at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, which is where I met my loving and supportive wife.

About my practice

A local pediatrician inspired me to pursue medicine. I believe that visiting your doctor can be fun. I interact with my patients through humor which makes the appointments lively and helps my patients open up to me. I enjoy joking and laughing with the children, their families and the staff. My philosophy of care is to work with the families to provide the best care for the children through encouragement and motivation. The Hawaii Permanente Medical Group allows me to do this through teamwork with colleagues, which results in delivering increasingly comprehensive care. I also have a passion for teaching and am currently a pediatric preceptor for the John A. Burns School of Medicine.

How I thrive

I love to spend my days off fishing and golfing. I have had a recent interest in agricultural systems, specifically permaculture and aquaponics.
