About Me

Originally from the East Coast , I have spent the last 15 years working as a nurse anesthetist in Hawaii. I have chosen to come to the pacific northwest in search of work -life balance issues. I have chosen Kaiser Permanente Northwest because of the professional practice collaboration and professionalism that Kaiser Permanente is noted for. It's nice to be part of a system which allows me to take great care of my patients!

About my practice

My goals and philosophy in nursing and anesthesia are to implement seven roles of the advanced practice nursing including practitioner, teacher, researcher, collaborator, consultant , change agent and clinical leader while placing a special emphasis on advocacy in nursing. This includes advocacy for the patient, advocacy for the community and advocacy for the profession. I am also a certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

How I thrive

Any thing and everything to keep up with my two young girls : playing, running, biking, hiking, swimming and exploring the pacific northwest. I also love to read and garden - weather permitting in the pacific northwest.
