About Me

I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada where I completed the majority of my medical training. I moved to North Dakota where I practiced for eleven years before relocating to the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii in 2010 with my husband, three children and our dog.

About my practice

Because my mother suffered from a chronic illness, I was exposed to the world of medicine from a very young age and decided that I wanted to be a part of making peoples lives better. During medical school, I chose to pursue a career in obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn) medicine because you get to be a part of the whole birth experience. As an Ob/Gyn physician, I have the privilege of caring for pregnant moms and their families. At Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, we truly care about the overall well-being of our members, not just treating their medical problems but taking care of all of their health care needs. My colleagues and I feel supported as we strive to provide the highest quality of medical care to our patients and members.

How I thrive

After spending most of my life in cold climates, I am thoroughly enjoying the year round tropical Hawaiian weather. I try to be outdoors as much as possible and enjoy walking, swimming, reading and going to the beach with my family.
