About Me

Hi! Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you.

Biography

I was born at Kaiser Permanente in Walnut Creek, so I feel destined to be at Kaiser Permanente for my career. I received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Smith College and then went to medical school at Indiana University. I also spent three years as a flight surgeon in the US Navy. After serving my active duty time I returned to residency at Loma Linda University. I spent a year doing a fellowship in international emergency medicine. My medical projects have taken me to many countries, including Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, Vietnam, India, and Belize.

About my practice

Most people don’t plan on coming to the Emergency Room, so when you need us our goal is to meet your needs in every way we can and make your experience the best it can possibly be.

How I thrive

I love spending time outdoors! I’ve completed several marathons and triathlons and continue to look for new athletic challenges every chance I get. I find my time for exercise is also a time for relaxation of the mind and renewal of the spirit, so I strive to fit it into my schedule as often as possible.
