About Me

Welcome to to my Web page! I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente and look forward to working with you to keep you in good health.

Biography

I came to America from Vietnam in 1992. My family left Vietnam because life under the communist government was too difficult for us to bear. I became a doctor because I wanted to have the ability to help people at the right moment and in the right place if I happen to be there. I am married to my high school sweetheart. We don't have any kids yet. I like to cook, work in my garden, read a good thriller, listen to music, watch a good game on the weekends, and take pictures.

About my practice

I work as a hospitalist. This means I care for hospitalized members and make sure they have appropriate follow-up with their regular doctor after they are discharged. I feel very honored that members have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

Keeping personal life and work in balance is the most important goal. I try to exercise when I can. At work, I like to walk at a very fast pace between different floors and climb the stairs instead of using elevators. At home, I try to exercise on the step machine while watching a game on TV. I do push-ups, pull-ups, and light weight-lifting. When things are stressful, I like to meditate to clear my mind. I also pray to help keep me calm. Cooking, gardening, and taking photos relax me.
