About Me

Welcome to my web page. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members. I'm excited to be able to share a little about myself with you. I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.

Biography

I was born and grew up in Nayarit, Mexico. After many years of hard work and perseverance, I became the first physician in my family. When I finished medical school in Mexico, I came to the United States to join my family in California. I completed Family Medicine Residency at Riverside County Regional Medical Center, and I am board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. I have a lovely husband and three wonderful children. I enjoy spending qualitative time with my family at home. I also have three German Shepherds and a parrot, and I enjoy their company.

About my practice

My practice philosophy is to help patients understand their medical problems so that they can actively practice in their treatment. I devote a great deal of my time to preventive care. However, I am here for you when you are ill and will be your partner in health to get you better. My goal is to treat each member with compassion and to give excellent medical care.

How I thrive

I enjoy exercising with my kids by taking them out for a 30 minute run or jog, or cycling 30 minutes by myself when I have the opportunity. We also try to eat as healthy as possible by making our meals with plenty of vegetables and drinking water instead of sweetened beverages. I also put time aside to pray daily because my spiritual life is very important to me.
