About Me

I was born and raised in Hawaii. My inspiration to study medicine came from the close contact, experiences, and interactions I had with various family members and friends with incurable chronic illnesses, with a majority of them having advanced stages of cancer. They all suffered a poor quality of life which I felt could be improved upon.

About my practice

My personal experiences with family members, and friends diagnosed with cancer, inspired me to specialize in oncology. I was committed to learning as much as possible about these illnesses in order to provide high quality supportive therapy. At the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, I enjoy my interactions with the many intelligent and approachable physicians who truly care for our members. I aim to offer the best care possible, and to provide maximum palliative care to alleviate pain and improve the quality of life for our patients. I am available to consult with my patients over the phone, and through emails and office visits. I enjoy discussing how they are managing their illnesses as well as hearing about their philosophies of life in general.I am also a member of the Hawaii Society of Clinical Oncology.

How I thrive

In my free time, I enjoy taking mini-vacations and going on walks for exercise. I also look forward to spending time with family, as well as quiet times alone.
