About Me

I'm glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.

Biography

I am a third generation Japanese American who was born and raised in Southern California. I attended medical school at USC and received my medical degree in 1993. After that, I completed my residency training in internal medicine at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. I have been board certified in internal medicine since 1996.

About my practice

I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I'm also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health. I place an emphasis on cancer screening because early detection of some of the common cancers, such as breast cancer and cervical cancer, saves lives.

How I thrive

I thrive by staying active and eating a healthy diet. My exercise regimen includes running and playing basketball.
