About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my physical medicine and rehabilitation practice.

Biography

Although I was born in Taiwan, I grew up in Anaheim Hills and volunteered at the Kaiser Permanente hospital in Anaheim as both a high school student and an undergraduate at UC Irvine. I attended UCLA for medical school, Loma Linda University for my internship, and UC Irvine for my residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation. I started working for Kaiser Permanente in Downey after my residency because I knew this wonderful organization was where I wanted to practice. I am married and have three children who keep me very busy at home.

About my practice

I work with a wonderful, friendly staff here in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. I treat a wide scope of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, ranging from low back pain to stroke-related problems. I see members from all age groups and treat conditions that affect all the major systems of the body. My focus is to restore members to their maximum functionality. I want to work with you to address your specific health needs and concerns.

How I thrive

Since I encourage my members to exercise, I try to practice what I preach. I exercise for the sake of my own physical health and to help relieve the daily stress of life. I play tennis and basketball on the weekends, swim laps in the pool, and exercise at the gym. I also take walks with my family around our neighborhood.
