About Me

Medicine is my passion and I followed my heart for this noble profession. I graduated medical school in Punjab, India, and completed an internship in medicine and surgery. I was fascinated by allergy/immunology with cross-training in rheumatology, which led me to pursue fellowship training at the University of Kansas. I then served as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Kansas, and it was a great honor to teach medical students, residents and fellows. In 2002, I joined Colorado Permanente Medical Group. Kaiser Permanente is truly a place where I can fulfill my passion of practicing great medicine with autonomy, integrity and passion. Over the years, I have worked with wonderful colleagues and patients. They have all taught me the true art of practicing medicine and staying humble, as well as given me valuable clinical experience. I really enjoy taking care of the complex immunological patients who need us the most. I was honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2020.

About my practice

Staying up to date and practicing cutting-edge, evidence-based medicine is still my calling. I practice medicine with integrity, compassion and empathy. I enjoy working with my colleagues and staff and treating them with the utmost respect and professionalism. I strongly believe in teamwork to promote better health care and successful outcomes for our patients.

My special interests include immunodeficiency (IVIG infusion clinic), autoimmune immunological diseases, EGPA, CEP, inpatient/outpatient ASA/drug allergy, perioperative drug allergy evaluations and biologics desensitization, food allergies/oral desensitization, asthma/COPD and other respiratory diseases, mast cell diseases/HES, and immunotherapy/VIT. I see patients of all ages.

How I thrive

My wife and I have 2 wonderful boys. We love outdoor activities including camping, fishing and hiking. I always remind myself of Buddha’s wisdom: “There is no path to happiness. Happiness is the path.” I look forward to coming to work every day and do my best to help all who need us the most.
