I grew up in Colorado, went to college at University of Colorado Boulder, and did my ophthalmology training here after medical school in Albuquerque. I'm lucky to have two sisters and their families living in the Denver/Boulder area. It’s a joy helping people see better!
I enjoy getting to know my patients and helping to develop plans for their visual needs, including treatments for sight-threatening illnesses. It's really rewarding communicating with members about their lives and vision needs. Although most of my patients are over age 55, I am happy to help adults of all ages with their vision needs.
One of my passions is volunteering to see patients at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless Stout Street Eye Clinic.
