About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. My name is John Ribaudo, and I've been practicing in the Coachella Valley since the fall of 2018.

Biography

I grew up in the Boston, Massachusetts suburbs and graduated from Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Medical School in New Hampshire. My fascination with neurology began while taking an elective neurology course early in my medical school training. Since I participated in the Navy Health Professions Scholarship Program during medical school, I completed my internship at Naval Hospital Oakland. After completing a UC Davis-associated neurology residency at the VA hospital in Martinez, I completed my service obligation to the US Navy by practicing at the Naval Hospital Oakland.  I then completed a one-year neurophysiology fellowship at the VA hospital in Martinez.

About my practice

After my fellowship was completed, I practiced for Kaiser Permanente in Northern California for many years. Over time, I came to appreciate the wonders of the Coachella Valley lifestyle through friends we met while traveling.  I am thrilled to be able to practice for Kaiser Permanente in Southern California. I do my best to get to the bottom of what is causing your symptoms.  If we can't cure you, we try to teach you how to manage your problem so that you can live your life as fully as possible.

How I thrive

When I’m not at work, I enjoy exercise, including hiking in the Coachella Valley as well as walking our dog, Bernadette, in our neighborhood.  I look forward to our annual family reunion in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, as well as overseas travel when our schedules allow.
