About Me
I am a general surgeon at our Glenlake Medical Center. I completed medical school at Harvard Medical School and my general surgery training at New York University. My wife is originally from Atlanta, and we enjoy everything the city has to offer.
About my practice
I am based at Kaiser Permanente’s Glenlake Medical Center and have general surgery privileges at Northside Hospital and Piedmont Hospital. I enjoy taking care of a broad range of general surgery issues such as gallbladder disease and hernias. I also enjoy performing minimally invasive surgery for gastrointestinal conditions such as cancer and diverticulitis. In addition, we perform thyroid, breast and skin cancer surgeries. If appropriate, I will offer non-surgical choices to our members. However, if surgery is needed, the best possible procedure will be offered.
How I thrive
On a personal basis, I thrive by leading a healthy and complete life. Spending quality time with my wife is my favorite activity. We have even published medical academic papers together. I also spend time playing the piano and making good use of our home gym. Sundays are spent with family and in our church. However, I am always ready to return on Monday to continue offering high-quality surgical care to our members.
