About Me

Thank you for visiting my Web page and for taking the time to learn more about me and my practice. I am proud to be a physician for Kaiser Permanente and I look forward to working with you.

I grew up in Tenafly, New Jersey, a small town in the suburbs outside New York City. All of my education and medical training were on the East Coast. I have lived in Rhode Island, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., and New York City, and even spent time in Alaska. My wife and I decided to relocate to California so she could be closer to her family and so that I could work for Kaiser Permanente—it has been one of the best decisions of our lives.

About my practice

In my Pulmonary office in Irvine, I see a broad array of respiratory diseases such as COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease, and lung cancer. I also work in the Intensive Care Unit at both Anaheim and Irvine medical centers, where I take care of people who are critically ill. I have additional interests in bronchoscopy, including EBUS (endobronchial ultrasound), a technology which allows me to more accurately sample lymph nodes and masses within the chest.

How I thrive

I feel fortunate to love what I do as a physician. My family is my other passion. My wife and I try to eat healthily and exercise regularly, and I try to teach good habits to my son.
