About Me

Being a native Georgian, I love living in the south. Having four distinct seasons and a mild climate makes it easy to enjoy the outdoors all year long. I love the beach as well as the mountains, and I am fortunate to live in an area that has easy access to both. I began my nursing career when I was in high school by working weekends at the local hospital as a nursing assistant. That is when I decided to become a nurse. I have always felt it is a privilege to be able to care for others.

About my practice

If you call behavioral health, I am often the first clinician you will speak with on the phone, as I respond to crisis phone calls. My goal is to provide you with treatment information and assist you with making the arrangements for your care. Should you have an appointment in behavioral health, I often will be the first clinician you will see for the initial evaluation. During this visit, we will establish a plan for your care as well as make referrals and schedule appointments for you as needed.

How I thrive

I enjoy the outdoors by walking, swimming or just grilling out. I especially enjoy cycling and have completed three 100-mile bike rides. Most importantly, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. When I can take part in outdoor activities with family and friends - well, that is the best!
