About Me

I'm originally from the east coast, having lived most recently in the New York City area where I studied at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Despite my east coast roots, I have been completely enamored with Oregon since moving here for my residency at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). My domestic partner and I have a lovely daughter who we take with us on our outdoor adventures. For me, medicine is an incredibly rewarding career, especially emergency medicine, which allows me to care for a wide variety of patients and to continually challenge myself intellectually. It is a privilege to serve the patients who come to Kaiser Permanente for their care.

About my practice

My philosophy of patient care is basic, I always ask myself "How would I want my mother, father, brother or sister to be treated if they needed medical care?"

How I thrive

Overall, what I try to keep in mind is that every day I wake up and I am healthy and those who I love are healthy and happy, is an incredibly good day. I value time with my partner and my daughter exploring the variety of adventures Oregon has to offer. We love going to the coast or the desert to swim, surf, hike, and unplug. When I have time for myself, I love watching movies (I am a movie buff!), reading, biking, and getting my fingers dirty in my garden.
