About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I have been a practicing pediatrician and have had the pleasure of working at Kaiser Permanente since 1999.

Biography

I decided to become a pediatric physician because I love working with children and their parents in the never-ending process of raising a happy and healthy family. I look forward to answering questions from both parents and children. I also enjoy the science of pediatric medicine, in particular growth, development, and nutrition. I was born in California but moved frequently throughout the Western U.S. I was happy to settle in Orange County in 1999 with my wife and start our family.

About my practice

I am a general pediatrician with special interest and training in both asthma and child nutrition. I enjoy working with all ages, but particularly caring for children from birth through kindergarten. These are the most formative years for many reasons, and I feel truly gratified when I can help a family raise a healthy and well-adjusted child.

How I thrive

When I’m not working, I spend my time with my wife and three sons. The energy and activity level it takes to help raise three boys is enough exercise for anyone. I am truly in better shape now than before I had children. My exercise is the four to five days per week I spend coaching soccer or baseball.
