About Me
I grew up in rural Minnesota and North Dakota, the oldest of three girls. In my senior year of high school I became interested in optometry when I needed glasses. I feel lucky to have ended up in Oregon for optometry school. I spent four years overseas living in Germany and New Zealand, and have lived in eleven United States states. Though I loved my time away, nothing compares to the green wonderland of Oregon- I'm so happy to call it home.
About my practice
I practice full scope optometry and enjoy seeing a variety of patients. I appreciate working within Kaiser Permanente's integrated care model, which creates a great learning environment for all of us here and ensures excellent patient care.
How I thrive
In my free time, I spend as much time as possible bicycling and being outside. I try to run four to five days a week, regularly walk the dog and walk to the store. Walking is a great way to navigate the world and stay healthy. I enjoy cooking, writing and drawing.
