About Me
I grew up in New Orleans prior to moving to Colorado to do my residency in dermatology at the University of Colorado. I never planned to stay in Colorado after my training, but after living here for a few years it was hard to leave. I miss the food and the architecture of New Orleans, but I love the outdoor lifestyle that living in Colorado offers.
About my practice
I enjoy getting to know my patients. Having practiced at Kaiser Permanente since 2010, I feel that I have gotten to know many of the patients and their outside interests and families over the years. I look forward to catching up with them during their annual skin screenings. I make myself available via email or for telephone consultation if an urgent need arises prior to a regular scheduled visit. I listen to understand my patients’ questions and concerns, and work with them to make treatment plans that meet their needs. I work as a team with our primary care physicians, other specialists and pharmacists to coordinate my patients’ care.
I completed a cosmetic fellowship at University of California, San Francisco, after my general dermatology training. I enjoy helping patients achieve their cosmetic goals but also maintain an enthusiastic interest in general dermatology care. I treat patients of all ages.
How I thrive
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children. The weekends are usually filled with transporting children to soccer games and other fun-filled family activities. I am a terrible cook but have gotten pretty good at baking desserts. I try a new recipe every weekend – sometimes it’s amazing and other times it’s an epic fail.
