I was raised in Lone Tree and completed all my schooling and training in Denver. I have 2 children, a dog and a cat. I became a surgeon because it is a privilege to help people through tough circumstances. I genuinely enjoy helping people to feel better and get on to living their best lives.
General surgery offers me the opportunity to help people through tough problems. Seeing a surgeon can be very stressful. I love being able to help a patient and their family, or their village, understand their situation so that we can come to the best solution together. I consider us a team. I especially enjoy working with breast cancer patients for this reason. I collaborate with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate the most appropriate care for your needs.
I reenergize by spending time with my family, reading books and exercising.
