About Me
I come from a small town in central California called San Luis Obispo. I have always loved small towns. I was raised by a single parent. My mom taught school and raised three sons. She still teaches 4 days a week at age 76!
About my practice
I have a deep regard for the nursing profession because, of all professions, it is the most family centered. I hope my work as a family nurse practitioner will support the goal of family-centered care.
How I thrive
I have a wonderful family. My wife is a great mom and nurse. She works in a busy labor and delivery unit. We have a daughter who is the center of our lives. As a family, we love to canoe, hike, camp, read, and garden. I have a life-long pursuit of bird watching, guitar playing, and swimming. I swim almost every day and have since I was 7 - almost 40 years.
