About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I would like to take this time to tell you a little about myself. I feel that getting to know your health care provider allows for better patient and physician communication and mutual trust.

Biography

I grew up in Irvine. During my college years, I decided to pursue a career in medicine because I really enjoyed biology. After my residency training, I practiced in a small, rural town in Arizona for three years as a physician in the National Health Service Corps, a government program for underserved communities. After that, I joined the Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center. My favorite pastimes are reading, running, and spending time with my family.

About my practice

Our bodies are fragile, yet resilient at the same time. For optimal health we need to balance daily exercise, healthful eating, and a lot of laughter. My goal is to guide all patients to reach their optimal health. I enjoy helping people as a hospitalist. My patients are members who are being treated in the hospital, and I work closely with physicians in other departments to provide the best care for them.

How I thrive

Having a positive attitude is vital to one's health and happiness. I write five daily things that I am thankful for in order to keep a healthy perspective on life. My faith keeps me grounded and helps me to remain consistent in all areas.
