About Me
I was born and raised in Hillsboro, Oregon, and knew from a young age that I wanted to practice medicine. I chose to become a physician assistant to be able care for patients' needs and focus on listening to the patient in order to integrate them into caring for themselves.
About my practice
I enjoy caring for patients with urgent needs. I especially like to do in-office procedures such as injection, sutures, and minor surgical needs. My philosophy of care is to listen to patients and have them guide the care. I really try to incorporate patients' needs and wants into how they are treated. I believe that patients are much more receptive to caring for themselves if they are involved in the process.
How I thrive
I thrive by spending time with my wonderful husband and two daughters. I also coach a high school color guard and get to exercise my mind and body while doing this. I volunteer helping with the children's ministry at our church, as this is a very important part of my life.
