About Me

Born and raised in Costa Rica, I came to Colorado and found that I really enjoyed living in this beautiful state. I have a Jack Russell terrier who keeps me very busy on my time off. I enjoy providing help for those most in need and sick. It is rewarding to see patients getting better or more comfortable. Coming from a different culture, I’ve seen diverse populations and feel very lucky to work in such a great health system.

About my practice

I enjoy hospital medicine as it gives me the opportunity to help very sick people under a lot of stress. I’m privileged to work with a fantastic team of colleagues that makes it easier to provide exceptional care to adult patients in the hospital. I try to be honest and compassionate while providing great care. I listen and am respectful of my patients’ beliefs.

How I thrive

I believe in preventive medicine and a healthy lifestyle including exercise, a healthy diet and promoting well-being. Balancing life and work with extracurricular activities is important to stay healthy and active. I enjoy traveling, running, hiking, playing with my dog, and new activities with friends and family.
