About Me
As your doctor, I understand how valuable your time is and I want to let you know how much I appreciate the time you take to be as healthy as you can be. The links on this Web page will hopefully make it easier for you and your family to get answers to your questions and take care of many of your health care needs.
Biography
I was born and raised in the Midwest and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I then moved to California to attend medical school at Loma Linda University where I was inspired to implement whole person care (a philosophy that integrates healing of the physical, mental, social, and spiritual) into my practice. I finished my training in Sacramento at the Mercy Methodist Family Medicine Residency Program. I then practiced with the Northern California Kaiser Permanente Medical Group until I moved to Southern California where I now feel fortunate to be working with a great team at the Huntington Beach Medical Offices.
About my practice
My practice focuses on preventive care. I believe a healthy diet, regular exercise, and laughter can sometimes be more beneficial than any prescription I could write. I don’t believe that adding more and more medications is necessarily the best for my members and that empowering members to take ownership of their health by looking for lifestyle changes to improve their bodies and minds is truly the best advice I can give.
How I thrive
My hobbies include playing tennis, biking, skiing, golfing, spending time with my family, and cheering for my Michigan Wolverines.
