Biography

I was born and raised in the Midwest and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I then moved to California to attend medical school at Loma Linda University, where I was inspired to implement whole-person care (a philosophy that integrates physical, mental, social, and spiritual healing) into my practice. I finished my training in Sacramento at the Mercy Methodist Family Medicine Residency Program. I then practiced with Kaiser Permanente in Northern California until I moved to Southern California, where I now feel fortunate to be working with a great team at the Foothill Ranch Medical Offices.

About my practice

My practice focuses on preventive care. I believe a healthy diet, regular exercise, and laughter can sometimes be more beneficial than any prescription I could write. I don’t believe that adding more and more medications is necessarily the best for my members. What I do believe is that empowering members to take ownership of their health by looking for lifestyle changes to improve their bodies and minds is truly the best advice I can give.

How I thrive

My hobbies include playing tennis, biking, skiing, golfing, spending time with my family, and cheering for my Michigan Wolverines.
