Acerca de mí
I am from Argentina. Both of my parents are physicians, and I grew up in a scientific-oriented home, which was the main reason I chose to go to medical school. Initially, I wanted to do medical research, but I greatly enjoyed the interaction with patients in my clinical rotation and decided to work in patient care instead. I graduated with honors from the University of Buenos Aires Medical School and completed my residency in Ob/Gyn. In 2001, I met my husband, who is American, and was visiting Argentina in a Rotary Club exchange group. I moved to the U.S. in 2003 and we got married. I then completed another residency, this time in family medicine, at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in northern Kentucky. I worked in community health centers in Kentucky and in private practice in Georgia before joining the team at Kaiser Permanente in 2014.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I practice medicine using a patient-centered model of care that allows an integrated and comprehensive approach to good health. I am very lucky to work with a wonderful team of physicians and nurses at Kaiser Permanente that share in the same goal of working to improve a member's quality of life, while offering excellent medical service.
Cómo vivo bien
I enjoy my family time. Being the mother of two smart and talented boys keeps me very busy. They are involved in music, theater, voice, jazz, and tap lessons - you name the class, and they have probably taken it! Our family also has a big, wonderful and beautiful dog (a Great Pyrenees), who is my companion for long walks. I also spend time volunteering for non-governmental organizations that support policies to make our environment safer for our families.
