Acerca de mí
I am originally from Ontario, Canada and moved to Atlanta with my parents and three siblings before beginning high school. My father was a physician, and he enjoyed practicing radiology for many years at Northside Hospital. I was inspired by his dedication to the best interests of his patients and the many challenges that a career in the medical field brings. I chose the Ob/Gyn specialty because of the many opportunities to educate and empower women about the changes puberty, pregnancy and menopause bring to their bodies and their lives. Upon completion of my physician assistant training with the Medical College of Georgia, I enrolled for an additional year in their certificate program for ultrasonography. I knew how valuable that skill would be in providing care for patients in my chosen specialty.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I have enjoyed being a part of Kaiser Permanente in Georgia since 1997, starting at our Glenlake office and then transferring to our Alpharetta location in 2003. Every day I am inspired by the dedication and support of my Kaiser Permanente colleagues and staff. We truly strive to work as a team and value the effort and contribution each brings to our department. This shows in the care and understanding we share with our members.

My role as mother of three busy children has provided valuable insight into my own patients' lives in how child care, family, work and household obligations impact our ability to fulfill our own personal health care goals. As a family, we enjoy bike riding, bowling and watching movies. When time permits, I enjoy reading, cross-stitching, sewing, water color painting, cooking and bird watching. I thrive on those unexpected and priceless moments life gives you that fortify you when things get challenging. For me, a few examples are a baby's first cry, children laughing, rainbows, seeing deer on the trail and the kindness of a stranger.
