Acerca de mí
I am a native of India, and I moved to the United States as an eight-year-old. I chose to practice medicine at an early age, mostly because it combined my love of science and the human body with my concern for people less fortunate than me. As a parent of two healthy young children, I have come to realize how lucky I have been to have a supportive family and good friends. I have developed a sense of responsibility to spread my good fortune to others.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I believe patient care begins with a good understanding of how illness can affect all aspects of a patient's life such as their interpersonal relationships, livelihood, and most importantly, happiness. I try to empower our members to take control of their medical problems, instead of ignoring them and hoping they resolve. While I strive to remain abreast of the latest advances in medicine, I also strongly believe that practitioners must use their own clinical judgment as to whether new techniques or treatments, above all, do no harm to patients. In the end though, medicine is more art than science, and each patient's care will be unique in my practice.

I thrive in all aspects of my life by exposing myself and my children to everything around them. The world is a daunting place, but the more people you know and the more places you go, the smaller and less scary it becomes. I love everything Atlanta has to offer, including the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Piedmont Park and High Museum of Art. Through these experiences, I have become a happier person, and I believe, a better parent.
